Paul Nichola has worked as a film and television director,
visual effects director, director of photography, new media
director, and more recently as a stereographer participating
in the resurgence of 3D cinema.
He has been the Head of New Media at the Australian
Children’s Television Foundation where, amongst other
projects, he was responsible for initiating "Kahootz", a CD
ROM and integrated web community for schools designed
to enhance learning through collaboration.
He has worked on numerous other feature films and television
commercials as well as being one of the four Company Directors
of Mirage Effects Pty Ltd - a Sydney based visual effects
company based in Sydney in the 1980’s.
More recently, Paul has been exploring the integration of 360
degree imaging with auto stereoscopic projection systems.
